Worthy is the Lamb

Behold, I knock at the door. (Rev. 3:20)

If the grandeur of the book of Revelation doesn’t overwhelm you, you haven’t been reading it right. Revelation 5:11-12 describes part of the worship that takes place when the Lamb, Jesus Christ, takes hold of the scroll containing God’s holy judgments on the Earth. It says:

 

Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice:

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

 

No big deal. There’s just about a hundred million plus angels singing in unison to the omnipotent Creator of the universe.
